The Region
Nages-et-Solorgues is a small village in the heart of Vaunage. In the village center you will find a bakery, a press shop and a restaurant. Every Friday, on the market place, a maraicher offers tasty products coming from the local agriculture . You will also have he opportunity to discover cheeses and charcuteries coming from the Aveyron region. To complete the fridge, other shops can be found at a distance of less than 5 km.
For those wishing to visit the region, Nages-et-Solorgues is conveniently located, less than an hour from the beautiful Provence (Avignon, Uzès, Baux de Provence, Arles, ...), the Camargue and its beautiful wilderness and the Cevennes, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Ancienne fontaine romaine en contrebas du site menant à l'oppidum.
L'oppidum de Nages ou oppidum des Castels. Le site se trouve au Nord du village, en direction de la fontaine romaine, au sommet d'une colline d'une hauteur de 160 mètres environ.
